Following the cancellation of the concert by the Chamber Philharmonic Europe on 15th October, we are very lucky that the Violin virtuoso Laura Samuel has agreed to step in and perform a daytime concert on that date with her accompanist, Lynda Cochrane.
Laura was a founder member of the Belcea String Quartet. As well as having a thriving career as a soloist, she is the high-profile leader of the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra. She plays the ‘Nissel’ Stradivarius violin made in 1731. Edinburgh-born Pianist and composer Lynda Cochrane also plays regularly with the BBCSSO and the Royal Scottish National Orchestra.
