East and West Curator Bill Hare will lead this walk and talk starting in the Upper Gallery and finishing in the Main Gallery in front of the large canvases in the Park Gallery

This guided tour of East and West, Scottish Paintings, Barbara Rae will trace the development of this celebrated artist's work, from her student days in the mid-1960s to the latest works in the exhibition. The talk will particularly focus on the expansion and elaboration of Barbara Rae's pictorial techniques which has made her paintings visually richer and more and more expressive over the subsequent decades of her illustrious career.
