Doors Open Day 2019
Peek behind the scenes and feed your curiosity as Falkirk's hidden gems open their doors.

On Sat 14 and Sun 15 September, buildings in Scotland that are not normally accessible to the public are opened free of charge as part of the Doors Open Days scheme. Here in Falkirk, we are grateful to all of the owners or agents who, by opening their buildings to the public, make the Doors Open Day event possible. In 2019 we again have a range of buildings from all over the Falkirk district providing a variety of architectural styles from different periods. This includes the two principal aristocratic seats in the area - Callendar House and Kinneil House, homes of the Earls of Callendar and the Dukes of Hamilton. Other highlights include Larbert Old Parish Church, Larbert Churchyard, Falkirk Steeple, St Andrews West Church and Sculptures at Larbert Churchyard and the Forth Valley Sensory Centre.
